A MISSING VEHICLE. A CLEARER RECORD.

Build the timeline. Preserve the evidence.

A vehicle theft claim can lead to detailed questions about keys, location, security systems and the events before the loss. We help organize those questions into a consistent, documented response.

Connect the records to the timeline

Relevant material may include the police occurrence information, the last confirmed sighting, parking records, available video, vehicle tracking information and communications with the insurer. Keep original files where possible and note who supplied each item.

We can help distinguish what you personally observed from what another person told you and from what a technical report concludes. A gap in your knowledge should be described honestly; an assumption should not be presented as a fact.

Respond to key and technical questions carefully

Questions about the number of keys, replacement keys, lock operation or electronic access need a precise factual history. We review the insurer’s questions and available supporting documents without claiming to replace a qualified technical expert.

Where a report is relied on, we can help request the report and identify the supporting material needed to understand it. A conclusion should be considered alongside the data, vehicle details and assumptions underlying it.

If the vehicle is recovered

Recovery can introduce questions about condition, inspection, storage, repair and valuation. Preserve recovery notices and photographs and obtain clear instructions about where the vehicle is held. Avoid disposing of relevant items or arranging destructive testing without appropriate advice.

Our agreed work may include insurer correspondence, a focused evidence review or a response to a coverage position. Whether theft is covered depends on the policy and circumstances; the fact of a police report does not itself settle the insurance issue.

Have a deadline? Include the date in your initial inquiry. Do not assume a consultation request, negotiation or complaint pauses a legal deadline.

Questions about this service

What should I do with video or tracking information?

Preserve the original file and its source details. Note the time zone and whether any timestamps are uncertain; do not edit the only copy.

Can you review a key analysis report?

We can assess its role in the legal dispute and identify questions for the insurer or an appropriately qualified expert. We do not present legal review as engineering certification.
